About Us
Western Norway Film Commission is a not-for-profit entity supported by the counties of Vestland and Møre og Romsdal.
Western Norway Film Commission was established in 2003, and operates as a division of Vestnorsk filmsenter AS - a resource center offering development and production grants to the local industry. Vestnorsk filmsenter AS is owned by the city of Bergen and the county of Vestland.
The film commission is a member of Association of Film Commissioners International and represented on its Board of Directors.
Western Norway Film Commission is also a member of European Film Commissions Network and the Nordic Film Commissions.
