The spy-action story concerns four atomic bombs, ready to explode, which have been placed in four large cities around the world. A female Russian secret agent with the code name 'Beautiful' is sent to decipher the codes and defuse the bombs. The Apocalypse Code crew spent 10 days shooting scenes in the city of Bergen, nearby Alvøen island, the stunning Aurland fjord and the fjord side village Undredal. Line production services were provided by producer Einar Loftesnes and Alligator Film.

This NOK 100 million production is entirely financed by Russian funds. Directed by Vadim Shmelyov, the films stars Anastasia Zavorotnyuk, Vincent Perez, Vladimir Menshov and Alexei Serebryakov. Vincent Perez plays Louis Devier, a wealthy French banker who intends to explode the bombs.

Producer Sergei Zhigunov has announced that the film will likely be shown in 50 to 55 countries and will be released in Moscow October 4th 2007. Filming has taken place in France, Italy, Norway, Malaysia, Russia and Ukraine.
