Mahsun Kirmizigül shoots I Saw The Sun

Günesi Gürdüm (I Saw the Sun), the second feature film by arabesque singer-turned-filmmaker Mahsun Kirmizigül, will be released on March 12, 2009 in cinemas across Turkey. The film, based on real-life stories of six underprivileged children, tells the dramas of various social classes. In addition to writer-director Kirmizigül, the film's cast features veterans Serif Sezer, Erol Günaydïn and Cezmi Baskïn. Local line producer was Vidar Trellevik from VPB Media.
