Ko (2010)
Summary
Ko, from director K. V. Anand, is produced out of Kollywood (Chennai) by R S Infotainments and features songs from composer Harris Jayaraj. The film stars Jeeva and newcomer Karthika (daugther of famous Radha, who starred in over 100 films) in the main roles.
Ko is Anand's third film as a director, having previously worked for many major films as a cinematographer. In 1995 he won National Film Award for his cinematography (India's Academy Award). Anand achieved stardom as a director with his 2009 release Ayan. Ayan became the third biggest box office success in the history of Tamil Cinema.
The director visited Norway on a location scouting tour hosted by Western Norway Film Commission, and found just the spectacular locations he was looking for. With Ko K. V. Anand introduces Norway for the first time to Tamil Cinema.
Ko which means king in Tamil, revolves around the story of a photo journalist and his face-off with various characters.
